The advisory, released Monday, did not cite any specific threat but comes amid growing global security concerns and escalating geopolitical tensions in multiple regions.

“The U.S. Embassy is closely monitoring the situation and recommends that American citizens avoid non-essential visits to government buildings and military sites in Abuja until further notice,” the Mission said in its official statement.
