In his Channels Television analysis, Udenta detailed how the current administration’s approach to the 2027 ticket represents an unprecedented departure from established political conventions regarding presidential-vice presidential partnerships.

Speaking about the vice president’s situation, Udenta said, “We should be talking more about the visible manifest humiliation of a sitting vice president. That may be the one that should be surprising to you and me. For the first time in our contemporary political history we had a vice president who for four years was regarded highly, managed very well by his boss for four years”.

He described the deterioration in the relationship. “The situation became volatile and naturally degenerated into some irreparable political dispute in the second term.
