Buratai thanked the members of the course, stating, “You stood by me during the Boko Haram rampage.” He emphasized teamwork, saying, “Together, we succeeded.”

He noted improvements in security in Borno State compared to the past, where fear and restrictions were common. “Nine years ago, we could not gather like this in Borno,” he remarked.

Buratai also acknowledged support from the federal government under former President Muhammadu Buhari and current President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the fight against insurgency.

“We must appreciate the support to the Armed Forces,” he said. His comments highlight the importance of collaboration in enhancing security in the Northeast
