Despite their vocal support for the cause, many of these celebrities were noticeably missing from the protests, which have turned violent in some northern states, Punch newspaper reports.

Aisha Yesufu, a leading figure in the End SARS protest, was physically absent but made comments in support of the protest on social media. Rinu Oduala, another prominent End SARS activist, did not participate in the recent protest.

Runtown, Falz, and Burna Boy, who were all actively involved in the End SARS movement, were also absent from the End Bad Governance protest.

Other celebrities like DJ Switch, Mr. Macaroni, Tiwa Savage, Wizkid, Davido, Toke Makinwa, Genevieve Nnaji, Sam Adeyemi, Oby Ezekwesili, and Feyikemi ‘FK’ Abudu, who were vocal during the End SARS protest, were either silent or absent from the recent protest.

Their absence has raised questions about their commitment to the cause and their willingness to stand with Nigerians in demanding good governance.

While some have expressed support for the protest on social media, their physical absence has been noticeable.
