Cement Price Drops by ₦1,000, But Old Rate Still Persists in Some Areas

The price of a 50kg bag of cement has dropped from ₦10,500 to ₦9,500 in several parts of the country, following improved supply and adjustments in distribution by major manufacturers.

Despite the reduction, a market survey reveals that some sellers continue to sell at the old price, blaming existing stock bought at higher rates and transportation challenges for the delay in price adjustment.
