The future of Chelsea transfer target Victor Osimhen continues to take several dramatic twists with a huge triple update coming to light this weekend.

Following his successful season-long loan at Galatasaray, Osimhen is expected to depart Napoli permanently with Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Juventus all linked. A return to Turkey has also not been ruled out.

Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal have also shown very keen interest with multiple bids made to Osimhen and Napoli. While their transfer proposal was accepted, the Nigeria international was not keen on a switch to the Gulf state as he wants to remain in Europe.

New head coach Simone Inzaghi has seemingly not given up, though, even with the pre-Club World Cup deadline having passed. According to Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, Al-Hilal are considering a new personal terms offer which would see Osimhen take in a stunning £42.6million (€50m) per-year.

If he continues to be adamant against moving to Saudi Arabia, a permanent return to Galatasaray, considering his affiliations with the club and their ability to also offer him a significant wage, is a real possibility.

Leroy Sane has already chosen to join on a free transfer over signing a new contract at Bayern Munich. He will be under contract with Galatasaray for three years, and that will see him earn in the region of £10million each season.

As further proof of their desire to compete amongst Europe’s best, an agreement on personal terms to sign Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen has been struck, according to Fanatik. More finances being committed to a marquee arrival could lessen their chances of also bringing in Osimhen.

Twelve months ago, no club were able to reach an agreement with Napoli, but that scenario playing out again looks far less likely with their stance being that his £63.8million (€75m) release clause must be met. With his departure considered almost guaranteed, Napoli have been looking at potential replacements.

One of those could be Al-Nassr and former Aston Villa star Jhon Duran with it claimed in Turkey that Napoli and Fenerbahce have both made offers to sign him.

With so much circulating about Osimhen and moves that could impact him, Chelsea seemingly still need to decide on whether or not to bring in another striker alongside Liam Delap. Enzo Maresca wants more experience in his squad, but Hugo Ekitike of Eintracht Frankfurt appears the favoured signing.

The 22-year-old is valued at £84million (€100m) by the Bundesliga club with Liverpool and Man Utd also interested in a deal. If a Premier League rival does meet those demands, focus could very quickly turn on to Osimhen with him having several seasons playing in a top-flight division...Read The Full Article/Content Here.
