They have already made more than three signings. However, for more arrivals to come in, The Blues will have to sell their fringe players.

According to a report by The Mirror, Chelsea wants to offload all of their deadwoods this summer. The Blues had tried to sell most of them last summer but had little success in doing that.

However they have now decided to make sure they move all of them out this summer.

Having said that, Romelu Lukaku is one of the players that would likely leave this summer.

The Belgium international is the club’s highest earner and they want him out of their payroll.

Kepa Arrizabalaga is another one who is very likely to leave. The goalkeeper has returned from a loan spent largely on the Real Madrid bench.

David Datro Fofana, Armando Broja and Cesare Casadei are also back at Stamford Bridge, but the club is working hard to find new destinations for them.

They look very set to depart as there is no place for them under new Chelsea manager, Maresca.

Other players who could leave this summer includes homegrown talents such as Trevor Chalobah and Conor Gallagher. The duo are targets for top Premier league sides.

First-team players like Ben Chilwell and Djordje Petrovic are also subject of exit speculations, with the later the most likely of the two to leave, as the club is about to seal the signing of a new goalkeeper.

That brings us to out-of-favour centre-half Malang Sarr. The defender has already had his lucrative contract cancelled to allow him to move to RC Lens and he is very close to finalising the move.

In conclusion, youngsters like Alfie Gilchrist, Andrey Santos and Lesley Ugochukwu could head out on loan as there would be no much first-team opportunities for them next season.
