George, who had previously boycotted airing the Olympics at his Ohio restaurants, citing the opening ceremony’s “Last Supper” drag controversy as offensive to Christianity, is now facing serious allegations of abuse against a woman he lived with.

George turned himself in on August 9, 2024, after a police warrant was issued for his arrest. He appeared in Cleveland Municipal Court on August 13 and was released on a $200,000 bond, with conditions prohibiting contact with the victim. The charges stem from a series of alleged assaults from September 2023 to July 2024.

According to court documents, George is accused of multiple violent attacks on the victim, including throwing her into a cabinet, choking her, and assaulting her with a gun.

He is also charged with rape following an incident where he allegedly attacked her after she got out of the shower. The victim reportedly sought refuge in a closet during one attack, only to be pulled out and further assaulted.

George reportedly admitted to some allegations in an audio recording and apologized to the victim. His attorney, Kevin Spellacy, has denied the charges, suggesting that George was targeted due to his public profile.
