The Vice-presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 election, Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, has cast a doubt in the ability of the coalition leaders to unseat President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 election.
Speaking to Trust TV in an exclusive interview on Wednesday, Baba-Ahmed said neither Atiku Abubakar nor Peter Obi has the capacity to do what Tinubu did to get power.
He described Tinubu as a phenomenon, a selfless and visionary politician who spent over 16 years to help others to power before seeking the power for himself.

He equally described Atiku as an impatient and perennial contestant who cannot make sacrifices for others.
Baba-Ahmed added that the coalition under the African Democratic Congress (ADC) may just be a vehicle for desperate politicians to push through their selfish ambitions and not in the service of the nation.
“Some people are out there promoting the coalition, and silently promoting their own political careers.
