Sunday allegedly stole the baby on July 11, 2024, prompting the baby’s mother to report the incident to the police. Following the report, police arrested Sunday, who then led them to the other suspects.

Hundeyin detailed that detectives arrested Sunday, who confessed to selling the baby to Udoh.

Udoh was later apprehended in Ikene Town, Ogun State, and admitted to reselling the baby to Nelson. Nelson was subsequently arrested in Festac Town, Lagos.

Hundeyin stated that Nelson confessed to selling the baby to Mr. and Mrs. James Uwam.

The investigation is ongoing, and the suspects will be arraigned in court once it concludes.
