He claims that the state’s treasury has been systematically looted through an intricate network of bank accounts and companies.

Galadanci has accused Hafsatu Abdullahi Umar, the wife of former Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, of participating in this fraud. He revealed that one Bank Verification Number (BVN) linked to 44 bank accounts, corresponding to the number of local government areas in Kano, was used for these transactions.

Galadanci also criticized the lack of concealment in these operations, with companies owned by Ganduje’s wife allegedly receiving funds directly from the state treasury.

He highlighted specific instances of large transactions, such as N82 million and N63 million transfers, and identified companies like Shoreditch General Resources, linked to relatives of Ganduje’s wife, as part of the scheme. The total amount allegedly siphoned exceeds N20 billion, which could have significantly benefited local infrastructure and social services.

Galadanci underscored the broader impact of this corruption, linking it to the region’s issues of hunger, poverty, and violence. He questioned the qualifications of the APC leader and criticized the current state of governance.
