Atiku expressed his dismay in a post on his verified Facebook page, labeling the latest actions as part of “another chapter of opaque governance under the current administration.”

Atiku highlighted the contradiction between the President’s recent decisions and his previous national broadcast, where he announced an end to subsidy payments.

The 2023 presidential candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) accused Tinubu’s government of continuing subsidy payments through what he described as “less transparent methods.”

“This discrepancy between the President’s statements and his actions not only undermines the moral authority of his leadership but also significantly erodes the credibility of his administration,” Atiku asserted.

Moreover, Atiku expressed frustration over the prolonged delay in resuming operations at the Port Harcourt Refinery, calling the situation a “national disgrace.” He attributed this failure to President Tinubu, who also holds the position of Minister of Petroleum Resources.

Atiku further criticized the persistent denials by NNPC Limited, arguing that these only worsened the hardships Nigerians face due to fuel shortages and escalating prices.

He also raised concerns over President Tinubu’s silence amid reports that NNPCL had diverted funds to cover subsidy payments.

Atiku urged President Tinubu to address these critical issues to alleviate the burdens of fuel scarcity and inflation on Nigerians.READ FULL STORY HERE>>>CLICK HERE TO CONTINUE READING>>>
