In the aftermath of the brouhaha that surrounded the arrest and freedom of Dele Farotimi, a renowned human rights activist and writer, Dr Moses Paul, the leader of the free Nigeria movement and close associate of Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State and Presidential aspirant of the Labor Party has disclosed what Chief Afe Babalola thought of him when they had gone to plead on behalf of the writer.

In his statements which were made available to the general public by news outlet, Sahara Reporters on their official social media handle, X today being Thursday the 23rd day of January 2025, he pointed out that when they got to his office, Chief Afe Babalola was startled.

According to him, the chief had thought that he was Dele Farotimi, because he bore a striking resemblance with the renowned activist and lawyer. He further pointed out the the chief thought he was a ghost.

“When we got into that place, Chief Afe Babalola was startled. He thought he had seen a ghost of Dele Farotimi.
