The Delta State Sports Commission has assured a successful hosting of the Nigeria National League Super Eight playoffs.

Okowa also expressed optimism that the tournament will be competitive and also lure more fans to the stadium.
The NNL promotion playoffs will begin today (Sunday, July 2) at the Stephen Keshi Stadium.
“With notable names in Nigerian football like; Heartland, Kano Pillars, Katsina United, already here [Asaba] for the NNL Super 8 the competition will be highly competitive,” he stated in a chat with the media.
“We don’t want an empty stadium. We also want good football, and I believe the teams will give the fans exactly that.
“Everything is in place to have a successful NNL Super Eight playoffs tournament in Asaba.”
Four teams will gain promotion from the competition to the Nigeria Premier League.
