DSS detains two suspects accused of murdering a 20-year-old woman with her hands tied behind her

Her lifeless body was discovered on June 26 in Bebeji town with her hands tied behind her back, a chilling indication of a premeditated and sinister act.

Investigations have unveiled a crime of passion stemming from a failed relationship, highlighting the devastating consequences of violent relationships.

The victim’s former boyfriend, Rabilu Hussaini, and his accomplice, Kamalu Maikudi, were arrested by DSS operatives following a thorough investigation. According to a family source, Rabi had ended the relationship, leading to hostility between the two.

Hussaini allegedly lured Rabi to a meeting point under the guise of resolving their issues, but instead, she was brutally slaughtered, and her phone was stolen. The phone was later traced and recovered from Hussaini, who has reportedly confessed to the crime.

Although the Director of the DSS in Kano, Alhassan Muhammad could not confirm the report, but he said that the suspects are in their custody and investigation will be forwarded to the police.
