He also claimed that the governor tried to manipulate the electoral process by transferring people to his polling unit which resulted to him having the highest number of PVC voters in his polling unit. He argued that the game changer in the edo election was because the governor betrayed other leaders in the PDP, including Dan Orbih, who had supported him in 2020. He stated that Obaseki kicked out nine out of ten contestants in the PDP primaries with no respect for their political significance in Edo state.

And that is why in my state today, I have the highest number of PVC voters in my unit. So the game changer really is that we had 10 of us that contested for primaries in PDP, about nine of us Obaseki told us to go to hell.
