Ekiti State Police Arrested 2 Cultists and Woman who keeps Weapons for them

The Ekiti State Police Command has arrested 2 Eiye cultists and a woman who stored some of their weapons.

Following recent attacks on citizens in Ado-Ekiti, police captured Olanipekun Lateef, also known as Lati Olorifunfun, in Ode-Ekiti.

He confessed to being part of the Eiye cult and involved in retaliatory attacks against Aye members.

Lateef led police to Agbeniyi Bunmi, who had kept the guns used in the attacks.

Bunmi confessed to handing the weapons to the Eiye armourer, Ademola Adejugbe, also known as Oba, who was subsequently arrested.

Police recovered 2 guns from Adejugbe’s premises. Efforts to arrest more gang members are ongoing.
