Enugu Council Elections: Distribution of voting materials begins

The distribution exercise took place at the ENSIEC headquarters in Enugu, overseen by security chiefs, including the State Commissioner of Police, Kanayo Uzuegbu, and election observers.

Prof. Chris Ngwu, Chairman of the Commission, assured the public that all necessary preparations have been made to ensure a smooth and peaceful election.

We have put everything in place for a seamless exercise. The materials are being distributed to the councils and wards, and we are confident that the elections will be conducted in a free and fair manner.

In his remarks, Commissioner of Police Uzuegbu emphasized that security agencies were on high alert and ready to maintain order during the elections.

We will not tolerate any threats or disruptions during the elections. Our men are fully prepared to deal with any situation that may arise.

The ENSIEC has assured voters that the materials will reach their destinations on time, allowing for the smooth conduct of the elections across the state.
