Manu stated this on Tuesday in a press statement made available to journalists in Jalingo, while facilitating with the governor over his victory in the governorship election petition tribunal.

The governor, it would be recalled, recently emerged victorious at the tribunal following the dismissal of the petition filed against his election by the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, candidate, Sani Yahaya.

Manu, in the statement, specifically called on the NNPP to join hands with the governor to work for the rapid growth of the state.

He equally urged the governor to use his tribunal victory to rally round all politicians in the state, irrespective of their inclination, for the betterment of the people.

“The governor’s victory at the tribunal has affirmed the massive support he received from the people of Taraba State during the March 18th 2023 governorship election,” he added.

Manu, who is the incumbent Senator representing Taraba Central Senatorial District, believed that the governor had already started justifying the trust and the support he got from his people by bringing developmental projects in the state.

The governor had also extended an Olive branch to the NNPP, urging the party to join forces with him in order to move the state forward.
