At least seven members of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), including a senior commander, a woman, and a religious leader, were killed in an Israeli airstrike on Monday targeting a military installation in Iran’s Alborz Province, near the capital Tehran.

According to reports by Al-Jazeera on Tuesday, June 24, the official statement from the IRGC’s provincial command, carried by Iranian state media, Brigadier General Mojtaba Karami, the deputy commander of the IRGC in Alborz, was the highest-ranking officer killed in the strike.
