According to a reports, the Obidient Movement has described the recent traditional title conferred on Peter Obi in Gombe State as proof that the former Anambra governor is winning hearts across northern Nigeria.
Obi was honoured with the title of Sarkin Maskan Pantami, meaning “Chief of Shelter and Peace of Pantami,” by the District Head of Pantami, Alhaji Yakubu Abdullahi. The appointment letter praised Obi’s dedication to humanitarian service and grassroots development.

While Peter Obi is known for declining traditional titles, his supporters under the Obidient Movement accepted this one on his behalf, calling it a cultural endorsement of his leadership and service.
