The world football governing body also noted that the ban will be lifted if the Saudi Arabia Pro League club settles the debt they owe Leicester City.

Al-Nassr has failed to pay the Premier League club money they owe for Ahmed Musa’s transfer.

Musa signed for the Knights of Naja in a €16.5 million deal in 2018, shortly after impressing at the World Cup in Russia.

While Al-Nassr has paid the transfer fee, they are yet to pay the Foxes €460,000 in performance-related add-ons.

A FIFA spokesman said: “Al-Nassr is currently prevented from registering new players due to outstanding debts.

“Relevant bans will be lifted immediately upon the settlement of the debts being confirmed by the creditors concerned.”
