According to him, he was given around N3 million as severance. Speaking further, Sergius Ogun noted that he had two bank accounts and he had N45,000 in each of the bank accounts.

It was six months after I left office that my severance was paid to me and it was about N3 million.”
“I was supposed to have a thanksgiving which was meant to thank my constituency for sending me to the house of assembly and the thanksgiving cost me nothing less than N10 million.
Where was I expected to get that type of money from? I still had to go back to my private pocket. I left the national assembly poorer than when I got there.
