Despite the challenges, the Action Peoples Party (APP) emerged victorious, securing 22 out of 23 chairmanship positions.
Governor Fubara’s address to the newly elected chairmen emphasised the importance of servant leadership. He urged them to remain humble, stating that “the moment you see yourself as a god, the problem begins”.
The governor also expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for his support, acknowledging that it was crucial to the successful conduct of the election.
