Rivers followed closely, bringing in N832.69 billion, while Oyo State generated N272.41 billion. Kano and Delta states rounded out the top five with N77.76 billion and N73.39 billion, respectively.

Bayelsa and Edo states came next with N64.66 billion and N53.55 billion in VAT revenue, while Anambra and Akwa Ibom reported N47.53 billion and N46.93 billion.

Adamawa’s VAT collection stood at N42.01 billion, followed by Borno with N35.29 billion. Niger, Taraba, and Kwara generated N34.84 billion, N32.37 billion, and N31.51 billion, respectively, rounding out the top ten.

Further down the list, Kaduna, Ekiti, and Jigawa generated N30.30 billion, N29.58 billion, and N28.54 billion, respectively, while Benue and Ogun states saw N26.59 billion and N26.16 billion in VAT revenue.

Sokoto, Gombe, and Ebonyi generated N25.98 billion, N25.45 billion, and N25.11 billion, respectively, with Kogi, Plateau, and Katsina bringing in N23.61 billion, N22.10 billion, and N22.08 billion.

The final ranks saw Yobe and Bauchi generating N19.79 billion and N19.59 billion in VAT revenue, while Zamfara, Nasarawa, and Enugu reported N17.83 billion, N15.89 billion, and N15.39 billion, respectively.
