She was invited by the Federal Capital Territory High Court in Abuja.

The government says she said something very bad about two top leaders.

“Untold story of how herdsmen reduced Benue community to ashes, burnt over 300 alive”

She named Senate President Godswill Akpabio and ex-Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello.

The government is accusing her of trying to damage their names. They said she spoke on live TV and made serious claims.

In her exact words, she said: “It was part of the meeting, the discussions that Akpabio had with Yahaya Bello that night to eliminate me.”

She also said: “Let’s ask the Senate President, why in the first instance did he withdraw my security, if not to make me unprotected to attacks.”

Then she added: “He then emphasized that I should be killed, but I should be killed in Kogi.”

Because of these words, the government filed three charges against her.

They say she broke the law under the Penal Code, Section 391 and 392.

The law says people must not say things that can spoil others’ names.

Natasha came to court with her husband and supporters. Famous activist Aisha Yesufu and ex-Minister Oby Ezekwesili were there too.

There were many police officers outside the court.

Akpabio and Bello will speak as witnesses both in court.

The case is just starting, and more people will talk in court soon.

Natasha has not said she is guilty. She came to defend herself.
