Exiled Iranian opposition figure Reza Pahlavi has called on Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei to resign, pledging that he would receive a fair trial—something he says the current regime has denied to countless Iranians.
Speaking at a press conference in Paris, Pahlavi—son of the late Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi—declared his readiness to assume leadership and guide Iran through a peaceful transition to democracy.
According to Times of India, he revealed plans to launch a secure platform to support dissidents and internal opposition groups aiming to dismantle what he labeled a dictatorship and establish a “free and democratic” Iran.
“We are a proud, ancient and resilient people,” Pahlavi said.
“To my compatriots: This is our moment.
I am with you, let us build this new Iran together.”
