She further stressed that when young girls used to sit down and day dream about getting married, she never did and that she used to day dream about working hard and making her own money.

“I was very actually scared of the limelight, when young girls used to sit down and day dream about getting married, I never did, I used to day dream about working hard and making my own money. Like I spend on myself so much that another person can not take the position of ‘If it’s not me, you won’t have this or you won’t have this life’. I can walk away from anybody, anybody job, I am the price, I’m the source”.
“The reason why they know me is for this work, I am earning from this because people like Genevieve Nnaji, Omotola Jalade, Mercy Johnson, Rita Dominic, just to mention a few took this seriously. We’ve been under attack all our lives, if you think you are going to come into the Nollywood space and not having people wanting to throw jibes at you and try to talk at you then you are a joker”.
“Trying to learn, everything that has to do with the name, Nancy Isime is a big deal, I just felt like they were people who were hoping and finally saying ‘Yes this Nancy, finally we’ve found something to hold on to, see she showed us this’ and then when I said ‘It’s not’, they went back to it saying that i have spoilt the fame for them, I don’t even know how every other week I’m trending”.
“They are so many of us but they will always pick at the ones that shines the brightest because they need some of that light.
