Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Speaking at the 19th Convocation ceremony, where degrees and awards were conferred, Oyedepo highlighted the success of 1,607 graduates, including 339 first-class honors, 762 with second-class upper, 330 with second-class lower, 25 with third class, and 151 postgraduates.
Oyedepo said that the accomplishments of Covenant University alumni in fields like aviation, fashion, banking, and technology have been his greatest satisfaction.
He said, “I said this before God. I have not earn any wages from Covenant University since inception. Your testimonies of success and breakthrough in different field of endeavor has been my earnings and wages.”
Oyedepo emphasized that his life’s purpose has always been about meaningful contributions to society rather than personal gain, urging students to focus on positively impacting the world.
You are created a contributor. Find a place to contribute. You cannot be a contributor and be a faiure. You will be part of the solution and not those who are problem.
We will see a brand new Nigeria. Don’t jump the fence. You star is where you belong. A commitment to be in the center of God’s plan is very essential,” he noted.
