In response, the Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Petroleum Resources (Upstream), Honorable Alhassan Ado Doguwa, stated that he was not facing any charges of murder or politically motivated violence in any court in the country.

It was a naked political plot and a baseless machination designed to thwart the will of Allah (SWT) and the wishes of the electorate of T/Wada/Doguwa Federal Constituency of Kano State who have always overwhelmingly voted for me,” said Honorable Alhassan Ado Doguwa, who chairs the House of Representatives Committee on Petroleum Resources (Upstream), as reported by TheCable.

I was found not guilty of the malicious accusations against my innocent self by three competent courts.

The most recent and outstanding ruling on the enforcement of my basic human rights as a free citizen of Nigeria was handed down by a federal high court in Abuja.

I would like to state emphatically that as of this very moment, my political adversaries in Nigeria are speculating that I, Hon. Alhassan Ado Doguwa, am facing murder charges or other politically motivated violence.

He was found completely innocent of the murder accusation after enduring nearly every criminal investigation and judicial consideration at different levels, according to Honorable Alhassan Ado Doguwa.

Additionally, he mentioned that the public had access to records of the thorough police investigations carried out by the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) that exonerated him.
