If you were good, You Won’t be denied of appointment – Governor Siminalayi Fubara

According to Vanguard, Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has launched a sharp critique against a media aide to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, labeling him a “data boy” and a “dog seller.” The comments came in response to criticisms the aide made regarding Fubara’s recent project inaugurations in Etche-Omuma....CLICK HERE TO CONTINUE READING.>>

In a press briefing on Friday, Fubara expressed his frustration with the aide’s social media remarks, questioning his qualifications and motivations. Fubara implied that the aide was unfit for his position, despite his closeness to the former governor. “If they love you, the appointment they gave to one boy the other day, if you were good, why didn’t they give you that appointment? Go and check yourself, something is wrong with you,” Fubara said, reflecting his dissatisfaction with the aide’s criticisms.

The Governor further criticized those who, in his view, use online platforms to engage in petty behavior. He alluded to the aide’s involvement in online insults and called out his involvement in “selling dogs.” Fubara emphasized the importance of contributing meaningfully to society, rather than engaging in such trivial pursuits.

The Governor’s remarks followed the aide’s claims that Fubara’s project launches were simply continuations of those initiated by the former Governor, Wike. Fubara, however, defended his administration’s efforts, clarifying that while his government respects past achievements, it is focused on executing impactful projects to meet the current needs of the people.

“We will not celebrate things that will not have meaning,” Fubara stated during the inauguration of the remodeled Government Girls’ Secondary School in Ahoada. He stressed that the project would improve education for the girl-child and contribute to the development of responsible citizens.

Fubara also affirmed his administration’s commitment to delivering meaningful and long-lasting projects, contrasting his approach with what he described as previous initiatives that failed to have a significant impact. “Projects’ delivery is not for mere fanfare,” he added, emphasizing the focus on addressing critical development needs.…..For More READ THE FULL ARTICLE HERE ▶▶
