Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, claimed on Thursday that the United States intervened in the ongoing conflict in the Middle East out of fear that Israel would be “completely destroyed” if left unaided.
Posting on social media platform X, Khamenei asserted, “The US entered the war because it realized that if it didn’t, the Zionist regime would be wiped out entirely.”
He added, “Despite all its efforts, America gained nothing from this war.
