Reacting to the airstrike ordered by U.S. President Donald Trump on Sunday, June 22, Fani-Kayode condemned what he called blind support for Western military aggression. He cautioned Africans against applauding the destruction of other nations, noting that such violence could easily be turned against them in the future.
“To the African that applauds what the Americans and Israelis did to Iran last night I say the following, get sense and know that if the Yanks and Zionists can do this to Libya, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Lebanon, Somalia, Afghanistan, Palestine, Gaza and now Iran with such impunity over the years, there is no reason why they cannot do it to your country at a later date,” he wrote on his official X account.
