A wave of Iranian missile strikes has caused widespread devastation to Israel’s housing sector, with over 11,000 homes completely destroyed and an additional 30,000 damaged, according to Israel’s National Emergency Authority.
Initial inspections indicate that nearly one-third of the damaged structures may be beyond repair, requiring full demolition. The cost of the destruction is currently estimated at $1.2 billion and is expected to rise as recovery operations progress.
