He highlighted the stark disparity between the earnings of high-ranking officials and the average citizen. Falowo found it inconceivable that someone earning twenty-four million naira per month would ask someone earning only thirty thousand naira to make sacrifices for the nation’s progress and development.

Falowo questioned the government’s financial priorities, stating that if resources were genuinely scarce, the focus should not be on purchasing luxury items like SUVs or discussing the acquisition of a presidential jet. He criticized the lavish spending on the Vice President’s house and the large convoys during official outings, where participants receive allowances.

These actions, according to Falowo, contradict the government’s claims of financial constraints. He argued that it was unreasonable for someone earning N24 million monthly to demand sacrifices from those earning N30,000. Instead, he suggested reducing the earnings of top officials from N24 million to N10 million to better reflect the country’s supposed financial situation.

Furthermore, Falowo criticized the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for attempting to convince Nigerians of a lack of resources while simultaneously distributing Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs) to legislators.
