A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Joe Igbokwe has faulted the party over its attitude towards former Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai.

Posting on his Facebook page, Igbokwe described the former governor as a fearless leader, key player and organizer.
Igbokwe criticized APC leadership for overlooking El-Rufai, describing him as a brilliant, bold, and influential leader who has been instrumental in the party’s success.
El-Rufai, a founding father of the APC, has been sidelined since President Bola Tinubu assumed office.
Tinubu had nominated El-Rufai for a ministerial role but the Senate failed to clear him.
El-Rufai’s successor, Governor Sani Uba’s administration had instituted a probe against him over alleged misappropriation of funds while in office.
