Speaking in a video shared by Channels TV, Arabambi said one of the issues Abure was ready to expose involves how Peter Obi’s presidential campaign funds were handled. He stated that four bank accounts were opened for the campaign, but those accounts were not properly registered with the banks. He mentioned that Peter Obi allegedly used his influence to take control of the campaign funds. Arabambi said that this action went against a formal instruction issued by the party. He said this was just one of the many things Abure was prepared to bring to the public if the internal conflict continued.

In Arabambi’s words: “Part of what transpired that Abure said he is going to open up to Nigeria is this. One, the four accounts they opened, we know from the Apapa faction that that account was not properly registered with those banks. He used his influence to manipulate the party and even the chairman and secretary out of the campaign by putting Mrs Aisha Yesufu and Pastor Ituah Ighadalo as signatories to that account, in defiance to the letter given to them by the party. That is number one.”
