This decision was conveyed in a memo to the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, on Friday.

Ngelale cited urgent medical issues affecting his immediate family as the main reason for his departure.

This difficult decision followed extensive discussions with my family over the past few days, as a troubling medical situation at home has worsened,” Ngelale stated.

During his leave, Ngelale will step away from his roles as Presidential Spokesperson, Special Presidential Envoy on Climate Action, and Chairman of the Presidential Steering Committee on Project Evergreen.

Acknowledging the critical nature of his roles, Ngelale said, “Although I understand the continuous nature of state affairs, this difficult decision was made after careful consultation with my family.”

The exact length of Ngelale’s absence is uncertain, but he expressed his desire to return to his duties as soon as circumstances allow.

I look forward to resuming my national service when time, healing, and circumstances permit,” Ngelale concluded.READ FULL STORY HERE>>>CLICK HERE TO CONTINUE READING>>>
