In a recent court hearing before Justice Musa Liman in Abuja, VDM was re-arraigned on fresh cyberbullying charges that include claims against Ojo.
One of the most serious accusations involved a video posted on October 29, 2023, where VDM alleged that “one Ivabo Ojo is having indecent sexual relationship with her daughter.” The statement, shared via Instagram, caused public outrage and led to renewed scrutiny of VDM’s controversial online presence.
VDM pleaded not guilty, and his lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, successfully requested that the influencer continue with his previous bail terms. The case was adjourned to July 24, but not before the internet buzzed with reactions from fans of the actress.
Iyabo Ojo, known for her resilience and vocal activism, has remained calm but firm in her pursuit of justice. “This is beyond defamation. It’s character assassination,” a source close to her said.
