In a live coverage by Symfoni TV, Ewor claimed that throughout Wike’s political career, from his time as a local government chairman in 1999 to his current role as FCT minister, Wike’s focus has consistently been on power and wealth. He said that Wike’s speeches have rarely mentioned the welfare of “his people”. According to Ewor, Wike’s political journey has been centered around accumulating more power, with little attention paid to the people’s needs.
