The incident allegedly occurred on the night of September 12, 2023, when Chitivha, a resident of the Tolrose Compound, is said to have trespassed onto the property of Isheunesu Shangudze, a 40-year-old farmer residing at Plot 9 Blagdon Farm, Eiffel Flats, where he committed heinous acts against one of Shangudze’s goats.

However, Chitivha, seemingly undeterred by this, entered the goat pen under the cover of darkness.
Disturbingly, he allegedly removed his clothing and used them to tie the legs of a white she-goat to a pole, leading to the vi0lation of the innocent animal.
The situation escalated when Shangudze was awakened by the sounds of distress from the goat, prompting him to investigate the source of the commotion.
As he approached, he reportedly heard someone moving in the pen, causing Chitivha to flee the scene in a panic, inadvertently leaving behind his clothes.
A swift police response led to Chitivha’s arrest after Shangudze filed a complaint detailing the shocking event.
The accused has since been remanded in custody, with the court setting a date for his next hearing on September 17, 2024.
