A man in Adamawa State has been arrested with a car he allegedly stole on Wednesday morning in Yola, the state capital, as Muslims mark the end of the fasting season.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!The car thief, Ibrahim Ali, who hails from Nguroje in Yola South LGA, has confessed to taking the car from somewhere in Jimeta, the heart of the capital city.
Operatives of the Adamawa State Police Command arrested Ali with the stolen car, a Toyota Starlet with a Jimeta (Yola North LGA) registration number JMT 317 RY.
A statement by the state police public relations officer, SP Suleiman Nguroje, on Wednesday afternoon, said that the suspect was arrested earlier in the day.
The statement explained that police operatives attached to the Ngurore Divisional Police Headquarters got on to the suspect during routine stop-and-search operations.
