Hojlund joined Manchester United last season and he was quite impressive in his debut campaign with the Red Devils. It would be quite surprising if they decided to sanction his departure. The Denmark international is a prodigious talent with a bright future, and he could develop into a key player for the club.
The report said Manchester United’s need for a prolific striker has taken them to many prospects, adding that they chose Osimhen because his style of play suits the English game.
The report also suggests that Manchester United are considering pairing Osimhen, who scored 17 goals in all competitions last season despite missing a chunk of the season, with Hojlund in the attack if the swap proposal fails.
Meanwhile, Sky Sport Italia and Sportitalia have confirmed that Dele-Bashiru will initially move to Lazio on loan for €2 million with an obligation to buy at the end of the season for a further €4 million.
This is lower than the €7 million release clause in his contract and organised in such a way to spread the cost of the operation out over two seasons.
he 23-year-old creative midfielder was born in Nigeria and raised in England, where he came through the Manchester City academy and spent three years at Sheffield Wednesday. He moved to Turkish side Hatyaspor in the summer of 2023 and made 39 appearances this season, scoring nine goals and providing six assists.
Dele-Bashiru, who scored on his debut for Nigeria in a World Cup qualifier against South Africa this month, was linked with Napoli last year.
