An eyewitness, who spoke with DAILY POST, recounted that after the man allegedly took the male genital, the victim felt the sensation and raised the alarm, attracting passersby who swiftly apprehended the man, began to stone him, and set his vehicle on fire.

“The man had just taken another man’s private part and tried to flee into his car before he was apprehended.

“I’m not sure if he survived, as I left the scene the moment they set fire to his vehicle,” the eyewitness stated.

In a similar incident in Masaka community, approximately six persons were reported to have lost their genitals.

Eyewitnesses said that this time, women were also involved in these alleged acts of stealing men’s private parts.

“In our area, six people lost their genitals. This situation is escalating.

“What’s even more surprising is that women are involved in these acts. What is going on?” they questioned.

Another eyewitness stated that these incidents were on the rise because the culprits were allegedly paid N6 million for one genital by the ritualists who commissioned them.

“One woman confessed when caught that if she had succeeded, she would have been paid six million naira for obtaining one man’s genital,” the eyewitness said.

Confirming the incident in Mararaba, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of Nasarawa state, DSP Ramhan Nansel, stated that the police intervened in the situation.

Nansel reported that the two individuals arrested were taken to the hospital for a check-up, and a clean bill of health was given to them.

The PPRO further explained that no lives were lost due to the prompt intervention of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).

“Yes, there was a mob attack yesterday in Mararaba, and the Police force quickly intervened.

“Two people were arrested and taken to the hospital, where they were given a clean bill of health.

“No one was killed in the incident due to the timely response of the Police force,” he concluded.
