Speaking at the university’s 13th convocation ceremony, Kukah emphasized the potential of young graduates to create meaningful change in the country.

Kukah commended the graduates, noting that their achievements reflect the university’s commitment to nurturing the intellectual capabilities required to tackle national issues.

Kukah further encouraged the graduates to use their education as a tool for growth. “Your education is a key, not just a map. So, use it to open new doors of opportunity in a world that is fast changing,” he added.
He emphasized that the future belongs to individuals who are bold enough to innovate and pursue their ideas, urging them to contribute to society beyond traditional job-seeking paths.
In his address, the Vice Chancellor of Veritas University, Rev. Fr. Prof. Hyacinth Ichoku, highlighted the institution’s role in national development.
He noted that the university’s commitment to academic excellence helps to enrich Nigeria’s human resource capital, ultimately contributing to the country’s progress and growth.
