In a recent statement, Olufemi Soneye, the Chief Corporate Communications Officer of NNPC, emphasized that these claims are baseless and should not be believed.

Soneye clarified that the company has no involvement in offering employment slots for sale and described the rumors as tactics employed by fraudsters aiming to exploit unsuspecting job applicants.

He stressed that the NNPC, as a responsible organization, conducts its recruitment process transparently and does not engage in or endorse the sale of employment opportunities.

The statement further cautioned that anyone who attempts to secure a job at the NNPC by paying for a slot is doing so at their own risk.

The company made it clear that any money exchanged for such purposes will not be recognized or honored by NNPC, as it operates a strict policy against any form of inducement.

Additionally, Soneye reiterated that the NNPC’s recruitment process is straightforward and does not involve any hidden costs or underhanded dealings.

He advised the public to remain vigilant and not fall victim to fraudulent schemes that promise jobs in exchange for payment.

The company also warned that individuals who engage with these fraudsters not only risk losing their money but may also face legal consequences.

NNPC urged potential applicants to rely solely on official channels for information regarding job openings and recruitment procedures.
