In the video, Obasanjo reflected on his role during the Nigerian Civil War where he worked to unite different ethnic groups. He said during the war, he worked with people from different ethnic groups, including Igbos, Hausas, and Yorubas. He said even though he fought against Igbos, the goal was not to drive Igbos away from Nigeria but to unite everyone together
