Okonkwo asserted that those in Tinubu’s inner circle have a crucial responsibility. He stated, “The only thing anybody around Tinubu owes him, if you love him, is to help him to leave a legacy.” The professor acknowledged Tinubu’s well-known financial status, saying, “We have known him as somebody who is stupendously rich, who knows how to spend money. So, making money can no longer be his focus.”
