According to Punch, A wave of violence has hit Ondo State, with two commercial motorcyclists killed in separate incidents. The attacks have left residents in fear, wondering who will be next.

The first victim, Dada Jatto, was a well-known motorcycle rider in Iyani Akoko. He went missing three days before his body was found beside the road.

His lifeless body was discovered with multiple machete cuts, a gruesome sight that has shaken the community.

In another incident, a motorcycle rider was lured to a location between Ikare and Arigidi Akoko.

He was attacked with a sledgehammer and left for dead. Although he was rescued and taken to a hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.

The police have arrested one suspect in connection with the second incident. The suspect was found with the stolen motorcycle, and an investigation is underway.

The motive behind the attacks is unclear, but residents are calling for increased security measures to protect motorcycle riders.

The police have assured that efforts are being made to arrest the perpetrators and prevent further attacks.
