One unidentified driver was killed in a lone accident in the early hours of Friday in Ilorin, the Kwara state capital.

The lone driver coming from Fate Road reportedly hit the roundabout as a result of overspeeding, leading to the Mazda car bursting into flames.
At the time of this report, smoke was still issuing from the badly damaged car, which was burnt beyond recognition, while the ground around the scene of the accident was stained with blood.
Confirming the incident, the Sector Commander, of Kwara State Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Frederick Ade Ogidan, said, “it was a lone accident, and the driver died in the incident.”
